From "Measure for Measure"

"Man, proud man,
Dressed in a little brief authority,
Most ignorant of what he's most assured,
His glassy essence, like an angry ape,
Plays such fantastic tricks before high heaven
As makes the angels weep."

Shakespeare

There Are Angels Among Us

No one knows the soul of another except sometimes when one sees in a particular individual (whether rich or poor) a great...but perhaps even unnoticed...contributor to the higher good and who makes a difference because he or she is on this earth. No matter where we go every day, we bump into these individuals and seldom know their names. We must never discriminate against someone because they are poor or may appear to have nothing to offer. For we never know if "an angel on earth" is the person we see living out of a car...homeless and hungry. ~ Patty Ann Smith

"What Do You Say?"

I wrote this song to shine some light on the pain and suffering of those who have lost everything, and are homeless, hungry and need medical attention.

"Give me Your Tired, Your Poor, Your Huddled Masses Yearning To Be Free."

We cannot change some of the circumstances of our lives....but we do have the defiant power of the human spirit that makes us able to rise above those circumstances to which we feel victims. ~ Viktor Frankl
